Here at ForeverLawn Charlotte, we pride ourselves on providing top-quality, highly durable artificial grass for many different purposes. However, to keep your artificial grass lasting as long as possible with minimal wear and tear, there are a few maintenance tasks we recommend. Here are a few tips on how to maintain your landscape grass.
- Gently remove any debris: We recommend using a gentle broom or rake to gently remove any leaves, twigs, or other debris as needed from your landscape grass. It’s important to avoid using any tools with sharp edges or spikes to do the sweeping or raking to avoid any unnecessary damage to your artificial grass.
- Use a mild cleanser as needed: If you spill food or a drink on your landscape grass, we recommend that you clean it right away with a mild cleanser. Using any harsh chemical cleaners could damage the artificial grass and impact its lifespan.
- Move lawn furniture regularly: When consistently under the weight of lawn furniture or other lawn items, the landscape grass can become bent or have flat spots from where the furniture was resting. You can prevent such flat spots in the yard by moving your lawn furniture periodically to keep it from weighing down the grass and flattening or bending it.
- No mowing necessary: The best part about artificial landscape grass is that there is no need to mow the grass regularly to keep it from becoming overgrown or water it regularly to keep it from turning brown. Compared to natural grass, landscape grass is incredibly low maintenance.
